Sons of Asaph - A Worship Podcast

Ep48 SoA - Soundboarding - Have a problem? Ask an audio engineer, they give the most sound advice...

Adam & Sean Season 3 Episode 48

I better get this episode out pretty quick. Since I released Ep49 the other day. But who's counting anyways.

This is actually the first of three episodes about Sound Team, Sound Techs, Soundboard life, being Sound Bored ;)

Our verse is Psalm 100 and Romans 12:1&2 talking about a Joyful noise with gladness, thanksgiving, and praise. While presenting ourselves and how we serve as a living sacrifice "holy and acceptable".

We talk about a Spicy Worship Burrito, two recently released hardcore bands "HolyName" with my friend Tommy Green from Sleeping  Giant and then the other band is "Project 86". Both have some epic new releases that you must go have a listen to.
Our conversation is about serving in the church, maybe not feeling very qualified to serve there but willing to learn and find an opportunity to worship while you serve. So though we are talking about our sound teams this kind of attitude isn't exclusive to this area; you can find it in all areas of your church ministries.

You might be asking yourself if there is any random nonsense about this episode and you are right, this seems to be more serious than other episodes we usually do. I hate to disappoint but I'm even disappointed in the level of banter this time. But that doesn't take away from what we do talk about. We also talk about #mostlyworship #firstservicewarmup #papercuts #beingsomewhatcapableoratleastwilling

Thanks for joining in on the conversation. We hope you enjoy this time together. I promise, going forward, we will make sure we turn our banter to 11 as we have done so many time before. But I'm crossing my fingers that somewhere in this Sound Boredom you might find some little bytes of smrtness.
Don't forget to remember to tell a friend about us, give us a review or at least throw us some stars, this all helps others find us. Thank you for supporting us.

Blessings
